Age more than 18 years, both males and females
- All cases of Pituitary macroadenoma presenting with visual complaints
- Patients undergoing both transnasal and transcranial surgeries
- Patients whose tumour was totally removed or whose optic apparatus was adequately
decompressed
- Age less than 18 years
- Patients unwilling to participate in the study
- Patients with a history of intraocular surgery or laser surgery
- Patients who had a residual tumour on postoperative CT scans were excluded from the
study
- Other tumours causing compression of the chiasm or optic neuropathy (including
glaucoma) were excluded from the study
