Inclusion Criteria

Elective OPCAB surgeries,EF > 50%

Airway Mallampati grading 1 and 2

Exclusion Criteria

On pump CABG

poor lv function (EF less than 50 %)

patients on iabp support

allergy to study drug

unwilling patients

difficult airway

Morbid obese (BMI > 35 kg/m2)

emergency surgery

AV Conduction block greater than first degree

SBP < 100 mmHg, DBP < 50 mmHg

HR < 60 beats per min

Bronchospasm or bronchial asthma/ COPD pts
