入排标准
入选标准
- •All elective patients above 18 years of age who are undergoing elective midline laparotomy
排除标准
- •1. Patients undergoing other than elective midline laparotomy
- •2. Patients who has known hypersensitivity or allergy to one of the irrigation solutions.
- •4. Pregnant or breast-feeding women
- •5. Patients with severe immunosuppression
- •6. Presence of concurrent abdominal wall infection
- •7. Preoperative systemic antibiotic therapy within 5 days prior to surgery
- •8. Previous abdominal surgery within the last 30 days or planned re-laparotomy within the next 30 days
- •9. Patients who are not giving consent
- •10. Surgery of the abdominal wall (hernia mesh repair)
- •11. Participating in another clinical trial that interferes with the primary or secondary outcomes of this trial.
