Inclusion Criteria
diagnosed OCD (ICD-10: F 42)
- informed consent
- consent to participate in the metacognitive group training
- social capacity to participate in the group (judged by therapist)
Exclusion Criteria
- lifetime diagnosis of schizophrenia or affective-psychotic symptoms (e.g. manic symptoms)
- macroscopic brain changes (diagnoses, organic brain lesions are assessed at baseline)
- substance abuse

Name Time Method Primary outcome is the difference in the Yale-Brown Obsessive Compulsive Scale (Y-BOCS) total score between t0 and t1 assessment<br>.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method The following secondary outcome measures are assessed at baseline (t0), after 8 weeks (t1) and for follow-up (t2): changes in self-reported frequency and distress experienced by OC symptoms (OCI-R), cognitive biases (OBQ), depressive symptoms (BDI), quality of life, and metacognitive distortions (MCQ). Moreover, change in Y-BOCS total score from t0 to t2 is defined as secondary outcome measure.
