Patients who are 18 years of age or older and who are scheduled for surgery under endotracheal intubation after general anesthesia
1) American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status classification = 3
2) in case of patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome before surgery or patients with history of acute respiratory distress syndrome
3) in case of patients with moderate or greater obstructive disease in preoperative pulmonary function test
4) in case of patients with history of recent respiratory infection within 1 month before surgery
5) in case of patients with total anesthesia duration less than 1 hour
6) in case of patients with anticipation of difficult endotracheal intubation
7) in case of patients with sore throat and hoarseness before surgery
8) surgery performed at the steep Trendelenburg position
9) body mass index = 35 kg/m2
10) open abdominal surgery
