入选标准
- •All patients requiring intubation and ventilation due to acute respiratory failure in the Surgical Clinic of Heidelberg University Hospital during the study period will be included. A total of 50 patients will be included in the study. Inclusion will be in chronological order. The following criteria must be met:
- •Acute respiratory failure
- •Need for airway protection by a tube for invasive ventilation
- •Age >18 years
- •Written informed consent by legally appointed representative.
