Primary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
To compare Alveolar to Arterial oxygen pressure gradient (A-a) DO2 between two ventilator strategies (volume controlled versus pressure controlled ventilation) in patients undergoing elective adult liver transplantTimepoint: 1. T0 Pre-induction

2. T1 10 m postintubation

3. T2 application of

retractors

4. T3 start of anhepatic phase

5. T4 10m after reperfusion

6. T5 End of surgery

7. T6 Post extubation
Secondary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
To asess

1. Arterial to End Tidal Carbon Dioxide pressure gradient

2. Peak airway pressure (Paw)

3. Dynamic compliance (Cdyn)

4. P/F ratio.

Timepoint: T0 Pre-induction

2. T1 10 m postintubation

3. T2 application of

retractors

4. T3 start of anhepatic phase

5.
