1)All pregnant women coming to opd and labour ward of KLE hospital.
2)Gestational age of pregnant women included are:
First trimester:10-14 weeks
Second trimester:24-32 weeks
Third trimester:36-40 weeks
3)Recent emigration from or residency in areas where ambient lead contamination is high.
4)Living near a point source of lead examples include lead mines,smelters or battery recycling plants.
5)Working with lead or living with someone who does.
6)Using lead-glazed ceramic pottery.
7)Using imported cosmetics or certain food products-imported cosmetics like kohl or surma or certain imported foods or spices that may be contaminated with lead.
8)Renovating or remodeling older homes without lead controls in place.
9)Consumption of lead contaminated drinking water-women whose homes have leaded pipes or sources lines with lead.
10)History of elevated lead levels or living with someone with elevated lead leves.
1)Active diabetes and hepatitis.
2)Habitual use of alcohol or drugs.
3)Use of prescribed ayurvedic medications.
4)Hypertention controlled with medications.
5)Active psychosis.

Name Time Method Screening of serum lead levels during pregnancy. <br/ ><br>Association of serum lead levels with anaemia in pregnancy. <br/ ><br>Timepoint: The outcome will be assessed at the last after the third trimester test is also done .Then I will assess how the serum lead levels will be varying in each trimester and I will aiso assess its increase in that particular trimester has effect on haemoglobin or not. <br/ ><br>
