Inclusion Criteria
patients age 18-70 years and diagnosis with coronary artery disease that required an elective CABG.
Exclusion Criteria
Exclusion criteria were cardiogenic shock or cardiac arrest during the current admission, conditions requiring other cardiac procedures (such as valvular heart disease), history of cardiac operation, significant peripheral arterial disease affecting the lower limbs, end-stage renal disease (ESRD; glomerular filtration rate [GFR]<15 ml/min), pregnancy, and chronic lung disease.
