Inclusion Criteria

all patients with rupture of the SL-ligament who received a surgical reconstruction according to Garcia-Elias or Henry. Only patients operated between 2015 and 2018 in Unfallkrankenhaus Berlin, Germany

Exclusion Criteria

other reconstructive operation than reconstruction according to Garcia-Elias or Henry, language barrier, no consent

Primary Outcome Measures

Range of motion and pain at least 1 year after operation compared to the non-operated hand

The most recent x-ray shows no change of radiologic parameters compared to the postoperative result.<br><br>At follow-up at least 12 months post-OP, there are no relevant differences of function or subjective outcome between patients who received a reconstruction according to Henry and those who had a three ligament tenodesis.<br><br>Patients with delayed operative treatment at least 3 months after trauma show worse radiologic, functional, and subjective results than patients who were treated earlier.
