Patients undergoing neurosurgery, tumor resection, or aneurysm clamping and who are 18 years of age and older and classified as physical status ASA I, II, and III, according to the American Society of Anesthesiologists classification.
Patients or legal representative who do not accept to participate in the study, with refusal to sign the consent form; patients under 18 years old; any other neurosurgical procedure other than tumor resection or aneurysm clipping (head trauma, ventriculo-peritoneal shunt, etc.), patients with chronic kidney injury, pre-existing abnormality of acid-base and electrolyte disorder, pregnant women and patients in use of previous diuretics.
