To know which of the two drugs ketamine or dexamethasone are better in reducing sore throat in patients after undergoing surgery in complete unconsciousness if they are nebulized with either of the drugs before surgery.

Inclusion Criteria

Patients belonging to ASA Grade I and II, undergoing surgery of less than 2 hours duration in supine postion, under genral anaesthesia requiring orotracheal intubation

Exclusion Criteria

Patients with hsistory of sore throat or recent upper airway infection, respiratory disease, requiring oral or head and neck surgeries, pregnant females, patients with anticipated difficult airway (mallampatti class 3 and 4), allergy to any of the study drugs or on chronic medication (NSAIDS, Steroids)
