Inclusion Criteria
Patients undergoing thyroid surgeries under General Anesthesia with A.S.A. Grade I
and A.S.A. Grade II
Exclusion Criteria
1. Patient refusal
2. Inability to consent to the procedure
3. A history of cardiac, respiratory, hepatic, or
renal failure
4.Patients with heart block
5.Patients on adrenoreceptor agonist or antagonist treatment will also be excluded.
