Inclusion Criteria

Persons with osteoarthritis of knee as per 2016 revised ACR criteria for early diagnosis of osteoarthritis

Radiologic tibiofemoral OA (Kellgren Lawrence grade 3,4)

Positive diagnostic block ( >50% improvement in pain)

Exclusion Criteria

Bilateral OA knee of grade 3 or more

Prior knee surgery/ injury

Arthritis due to other causes

Serious neurologic/psychiatric disorder

Injection with steroids/hyaluronan in the last 3months

Pacemaker

Uncontrolled diabetes

Coagulation disorder

VAS score < 5

Infection local or systemic

Allergy to anaesthetic medication used

Uncooperative patient
