Inclusion Criteria
ASA 1 & 11
patients requiring general anaesthesia with supraglottic airway device
Exclusion Criteria
duration of surgery > 3 hours, surgery in positions other than supine, significant acute or chronic lung disease, pathology of neck or upper respiratory tract, mouth opening < 4 cm, potential difficult intubation, an increased risk of aspiration, pregnant women, BMI > 35, non fasted patients
