Inclusion Criteria
-Acetabulum fracture
-No spinal cord injuries with neurological deficit
Exclusion Criteria
-Age <18y
-Neurological deficit because of other reasons than acetabulum fractures
-Existing coxarthrosis before injury
-Femoral head necrosis
-Systemic medication with corticosteroide
-Chronic systemic inflammation disease

Name Time Method Prognostic marker after acetabular fractures<br><br>Genetic studies with micro-RNA analysis (ASPN, AGC1, COL9A1, COL9A2, COL9A3, COK11A2, ESR1, FZRB, COL2A1, COL 1A1, MMP-3, IL1 gene cluster, etc.)<br><br>Histological and biochemical analysis of cartilage<br><br>Endpoint 2 years postoperatively.

Name Time Method Proteins and mediators in the serum (matrix metalloproteinases and inflammatory mediators, cytokines)<br><br><br>3,6,12 and 24 months postoperatively.
