入排标准
入选标准
- •Venous HCO3 less than 22 mEq/dl
- •Renal Function: 15 ml/min/1.73m2 - 59 ml/min/1.73m2(Both values inclusive)
- •Stable renal function for at least one month (less than 5 % fluctuations in GFR).
排除标准
- •Patients who had received bicarbonate therapy for more than two weeks duration in the preceding 6 months
- •Patients on hemodialysis
- •Structural and functional anomalies of Gastrointestinal tract
- •Decompensated chronic liver disease
- •Malignancy
- •Morbid obesity (BMI >40 kg/m2),
- •Immunosuppressive therapy of any kind
- •Uncontrolled diabetes mellitus (FBS > 250 mg/dl)
- •Overt congestive heart failure
- •Presence of chronic infections
- •HIV infection
