Inclusion Criteria

Adult subjects; male; stable weight for 3 months; body mass index between 18.5 and 29.9 kg / m2; in the case of HIV seropositive patients group using antiretroviral therapy for at least 6 months; T-CD4 cell count greater than 200 cells / mm3; undetectable viral load

Exclusion Criteria

Changes of thyroid function; use of glucocorticoids in the last 6 months; use of lipid-lowering drugs; use of oral anti-diabetics; use of beta-blockers; use of benzodiazepines; signs and symptoms of opportunistic diseases in the case of HIV seropositive patients
