Inclusion Criteria
Patients of androgenetic alopecia aged under 30 years with a Norwood- Hamilton grade >=3
Exclusion Criteria
1.Patients with severe systemic diseases.
2.Patients with alopecia other than androgenetic alopecia
3.Previous hormonal treatment or treatment with finasteride

Name Time Method â?¢The study is aimed to assess the prevalence of insulin resistance and different parameters of metabolic syndrome in patients with a hormonal milieu resembling polycystic ovarian disease versus those who do not, namely; glycemic control; hyperinsulinemia; lipid profile; body mass index; blood pressure; waist circumference.Timepoint: Baseline
