Primary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
Increased neuromuscular function (muscle strength and electrical activation), assessed by the isokinetic strength test of the knee and hip extension and flexion, using the isokinetic dynamometer at angled of 60°/s and 180°/s after 12 weeks, at least 15% variation in pre- and post-intervention measurements.

;The increased cross-sectional area of muscle assessed by ultrasound after 12 weeks of training, expecting at least a 3% increase in pre- and post-intervention measurements.
Secondary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
Increased perception of the quality of life, assessed by the Medical Outcomes Study 36 - Item Short-Form Health Survey (SF-36) questionnaire, from a variation of at least 15 total points in the pre and post-intervention measures.

;Increased gait speed with and without dual-task assessed by the ProtoKinetics Zeno walkway mat from a range of at least 0.10 m/s on pre and post-intervention measurements.;Improved functionality, represented by a reduction in the time to sit and stand a chair 5 times at the highest possible speed; Reduced of execution time of Timed Up and Go (TUG); and increase in gait speed measured by a 10-meter linear walking test at maximum speed, from a 5% variation in pre and post-intervention measurements.
