- •1. Infants admitted in the pediatric surgery department with a diagnosis of infantile hypertrophic pyloric stenosis
- •2. The parents/legal guardian gives consent for inclusion in the study

- •1. Patient in renal failure

- •3. Withdraws consent for inclusion in the study
- •4. A different diagnosis at surgery
- •5. Plan of surgery changed pre-operatively or intra-operatively
