Basketball is a competitive sport involving various motor skills such as dribbling, passing, catching, pivoting, etc., which develops through proper training from childhood. An athlete’s basketball career depends on skill development, mental strength to cope with various pressure situations and react quickly, adequate physical and motor fitness, and most importantly, accurate understanding of tactics and proper motivation and self-confidence to perform well. A well developed neuromuscular system might help to develop all those qualities. Neuromuscular training is defined as a combination of exercises that promote motor sensory function during physical performance in most sports considers that it is an integrative training program aimed at enhancing fitness and preventing the accumulation of neuromuscular fatigue residues, as well as improving the motor efficiency of working muscles. Multidirectional plyometric to improve muscular strength and power, decrease injuries and optimize performances. The importance of the multidirectional sprinting and jumping in basketball and by following the principle of specificity and transfer of training, it will be interesting to implement a training program based on these two qualities, which mainly aim to improve them specifically and other bio-motor abilities in general in a combined or a single mode strategy.
Null Hypothesis-
H1: Multidirectional plyometric training will not be producing any significant changes on sport specific performance, agility, Aerobic capacity, balance and strength in basketball players.
H2: Neuromuscular training will not be producing any significant changes on sport specific performance, agility, Aerobic capacity, balance and strength in basketball players.
H3: There will be no significant difference between Multidirectional plyometric training and Neuromuscular training on sport specific performance, agility, Aerobic capacity, balance and strength in basketball players.
Alternate Hypothesis-
H1: Multidirectional plyometric training is producing a significant change on sport specific performance, agility, Aerobic capacity, balance and strength in basketball players.
H2: Neuromuscular training is producing significant changes on sport specific performance, agility, Aerobic capacity, balance and strength in basketball players.
H3: There is a significant difference between Multidirectional plyometric training and Neuromuscular training on sport specific performance, agility, Aerobic capacity, balance and strength in basketball players

- •1.Players in the age group between 18- 25 years 2.Male basketball players.
- •3.Playing basketball for more than 2 years.
- •4.No history of any injuries for more than 3 months.
- •5.Players who will prepare for state- level competition.
排除标准
- •1.Players who are involved in basketball game as recreational sports.
- •2.Basketball players with a history of musculoskeletal injury in the last 3 months.
- •3.Basketball player with a history of neurological, Respiratory and Cardiovascular problems such as exercise- induced asthma, epilepsy, arteriosclerosis, Myocardial infarction, valvular heart disease.
- •4.Players with the history of surgical, medical intervention last 6 months.
