Inclusion Criteria
1.ASA 1-2 patients
2.Between the age of 18-60 years
3.Elective surgeries requiring endotracheal intubation for general anaesthesia.
Exclusion Criteria
1.History of dexmedetomidine allergy
2.Patients with anticipated difficult airway
3.Patients with unanticipated difficult intubation
4.Laryngoscopic attempt lasting greater than 15 s or more than one attempt
