Inclusion Criteria

- Afectación unilateral (permite comparación clínica con hombro contralateral)
- Rotura del tendón del supraespinoso del hombro afecto
- Repercusión clínica de la rotura, establecida por la necesidad de solicitar atención médica especializada
- Fracaso del tratamiento conservador (analgésicos, antiinflamatorios, rehabilitación, infiltraciones,?) por un mínimo de 3 meses
- Criterios preoperatorios de ?reparabilidad? de las lesiones basados en la retracción del tendón, la atrofia del vientre muscular y la infiltración grasa del mismo siguiendo a Goutallier
